Travel Less - Communicate More

Travel Less – Communicate More is GlobalFOCUS’ guide to how climate-oriented ICT (Information and Communications Technology) can be integrated into business travel policies in order to save emissions, as well as money.

Business travel is increasing as an effect of global company structures, cheaper communications, and a more global market. We must try to relegate the resulting emissions to a level that they will not permanently affect our world. Think of what ICT services like YouTube, iTunes and MySpace have done to the media business; why would the same kind of revolution not be possible for other sectors as well?

This project will produce a road map for businesses to show how modern ICT solutions can replace physical travels with digital ones, and how this technology can be implemented in their operations.
